I hope the Glee writers are proud of themselves for alienating a good portion of their female fanbase who identified with Rachel Berry and how she wasn’t afraid of being alone as long as she had her dreams and knew she was doing everything to achieve them. I hope they’re proud of themselves for furthering the offensive and stereotypical gender roles that their show is trying to fight against. I hope they’re proud of themselves for proving to their viewers that you’re worthless and uninteresting if you don’t have a romantic attachment. I hope they’re proud of themselves for teaching young girls that the only thing that matters in life is your boyfriend (not your girlfriend because the LBT are all silent) and that if you’re not married before you graduate high school, you’re a failure.
